Is there somewhere for my kids to go while I workout?
Yes. Child Watch is included in your membership dues. The Y offers qualified and loving care for your kids while you are using the facility. There is a two hour limit per visit per day. Our guests may purchase a Child Watch card from our Member Service Staff for $26.50, which is good for 5 hours. Our Child Watch is available during the following hours:
 
Monday - Thursday 9:00am  - 11:30am
4:00pm  - 8:00pm
Friday: 9:00am  - 11:30am
  4:45pm - 7:00pm
 
Can my child go to the fitness center with me?
Our facility age policy determines where children may be in the building with and without a parent. Children in 6th-8th grade may be in the fitness center but a parent must be present. 9th grade and up may work out in the Fitness Center and Free Weight Room on their own.
 
Can my kids swim by themselves?
Children 8 years of age and under must have a parent present with them in the pool. Children 9 years old- 5th grade may use the pool as long as a parent is in the building with them. 6th grade and older may be in the pool without a parent present.
 
Do you provide locks and lockers?
The YMCA provides lockers to members free of charge for daily use. However, if you want to leave things here overnight or long term you must rent a locker. Locker rentals range from $2.50 a month to $4.00 a month depending on size. Locker rentals fees are included in Men’s Health Center dues. You must provide your own locks.
 
Do you provide towels?
We provide a towel service to all members. Member must leave an item as collateral (keys, membership card, etc.) for returning the towel to the Member Services Desk. Once the towel is returned, the item will be returned.
 
Do I need to bring my own basketball with me?
The YMCA does provide basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, and footballs to members. Simply request the use of one at the Member Services Desk. You may bring your own balls if you wish.
 
What about drinks?
Drinks can be purchase in the Member Lounge from our vending machine.
 
I have no idea how to use some of the machines. Can someone show me how?
An orientation of equipment is included in your membership. You can schedule an orientation at the Fitnes Center Desk as long as it is at least one day in advance.
 
Do I have to sign up for a group fitness class?
Our group fitness classes are drop in. You do not have to sign up for any of them except for our Gravity classes. Because we only have 10 Gravity boards, you must sign up for class prior to taking it to reserve your Gravity machine. Sign-up sheets are in the Fitness Center.
 
How do I know what programs, camps, and events are going on?
Stay connected! Check the website, "like" us on Facebook, make sure we have your email so we can send you our newsletters and upcoming events regularly, and when in doubt… call us and ask!
 
Do you just have a pool only membership?
No, our memberships grant you access to all areas of the YMCA- the Pool, Fitness Center, Free Weight Room, Child Watch, Group Exercise Classes, and Open Gym. We urge you to utilize all aspects of your YMCA membership.
 
I need to cancel my membership. What do I do?
All membership changes and cancellations MUST be made 30 days prior to the expiration date or next bill/draft date. To cancel a membership, members are required to fill out a cancellation form at the Member Service Desk. Membership cancellations must be made in writing unless other arrangements are made with the Membership Director.
